Most anxious people we meet are very good at their jobs. They remember birthdays. They answer texts fast. They also can't sit through a movie without checking their phone, and they rehearse conversations that may never happen.
You've probably tried breathing apps. Maybe a few rounds of therapy that handed you a worksheet. Those tools aren't useless, but they tend to fade when the anxiety is doing a job, like keeping you ahead of criticism or making sure nobody's upset with you. We want to find out what that job is.

A lot of it comes out as control. Or as being the dependable one who never asks for anything.
Less coping. More understanding why.
We'll give you practical tools when you need them, especially for panic. Nobody should white-knuckle through that. But most of our time goes toward what's underneath. Often that's an older experience your body still treats as current, which is where EMDR can help. Sometimes it's a protective part of you that believes relaxing is dangerous. We take that part seriously instead of trying to argue it down.
Ebony draws on CBT, ACT, and mindfulness when those fit. Katie leans toward EMDR and parts work. For teens with anxiety, child and teen therapy with Alissa or Ebony is often the right starting point.
Sessions happen at our office north of downtown Colorado Springs or online from anywhere in Colorado. Plenty of people start virtual because the idea of a new office is its own anxiety. That's a reasonable place to start.
